Crafting

We preheat the oven to 180º.

We lay one of the puff pastry sheets on baking paper and, using a brush, paint its surface with condensed milk. A thin, even layer.

Next, we brush it with honey and cover it with the other sheet of puff pastry, as if it were a sandwich.

Using a pizza cutter, cut strips lengthwise about two fingers wide, then cut these in half lengthwise. You should end up with strips approximately 10 x 3 cm to make the bows.

Next, we twist the rectangles into a spiral , reproducing the characteristic shape of this sweet treat.

In a saucepan, heat equal parts water and honey, stirring until the honey is completely dissolved. Use this syrupy mixture, once it has cooled slightly, to soak the ribbons.

Place the bows on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with sugar (optional), and bake for 15 minutes at 180º or until you see them begin to brown.

We take the bows out of the oven and with a brush we coat them again with the syrup of water and honey.

While they cool, we melt the coating chocolate in a double boiler.

We finish by dipping the tips of the bows in the chocolate. We let the chocolate harden and they will be ready to enjoy.
