Peas They are a great resource when you don't have much time to cook. They take little time to cook and can be served with almost anything. One of my favorite preparations with this ingredient as the protagonist is the one I propose to you today: Peas with potatoes and sautéed vegetables and ham.
It is not the quickest dish you can prepare with peas, but it will not take you more than half an hour either. And in exchange for that half hour you will enjoy a very tasty and healthy dish. Because yes, both things are compatible as this proposal demonstrates.
If you want to incorporate it into a vegetarian diet, you will only have to do without the ham tacos that I added to the sautéed onion and peppers. And of course, if you also want it to be vegan, and not contain products of animal origin, also eliminate the boiled egg. Dare to prepare it!
The recipe
- 1 cebolla
- ½ red pepper
- 70g of ham tacos
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Sal Island
- Pepper
- 2 cups of peas
- 2 cooked potatoes
- 1-2 boiled eggs
- Cut the onion and pepper into julienne strips and we fry in a pan with three tablespoons of oil, a pinch of salt and pepper, for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a pot with plenty of salted water let's cook the peas until tender.
- After 10 minutes Add the ham cubes to the pan. and fry the whole thing for 5 more minutes.
- When the peas are tender, we drain them and we place them in a fountain.
- After we add the potato to the source and the boiled egg peeled and chopped.
- Finally we add the sautéed vegetables and ham.
- We mix and enjoy the peas with potatoes and sautéed warm vegetables and ham.
