Now in summer, that rest and leisure activities increase, the least you want to do is spend hours and hours in the kitchen to prepare super laborious dishes. The heat also "helps" a lot so that we spend less time on this activity and look for Alternative "bites" much easier to prepare, but also equal or more delicious than those to which we dedicate an entire morning or afternoon to prepare them.
In today's recipe we present some incoming may served both hot and cold. It is about goat cheese minitostes with strawberry jam. Delicious! If you have not tried this mixture of flavors yet, it is taking time to do it. Start now!
- Toasted bread
- Goat cheese
- Strawberry jam (1 tablespoon per serving)
- Olive oil
- In a frying pan, we put about two fingers of olive oil and we fry our own bread, cut into very thin slices. We have used bread baguette, but you can use the ones that are already fried with some kind of flavor (onion, garlic, etc).
- When we have them fried, we let them cool on a plate with a couple of paper napkins so that they absorb the excess oil well.
- Next, we cut the sliced goat cheese. We will use as many sheets as portions (starters) we want to serve. In our case we were only two people, so we served a total of 10 portions (5 for each). Once cut, in another pan with a light touch of olive oil (a few drops), we place them at strong fire and we simply give it a touch of heat on both sides. The oil has to be very hot so that the cheese does not melt too much.
- Once they are golden brown, We place them on top of the minitostes that we have fried. The last step will be add on top of them a teaspoon of strawberry jam to soften the strong flavor of the cheese.
- Ready to serve, taste and enjoy. They were great!
