
Baked chickpea milanesas are an excellent food for all those who follow a low-calorie diet and combining them with brown rice constitute a healthy and tasty preparation.
Ingredients:
11/2 cup brown rice (cooked)
3 cups chickpeas (cooked)
2 eggs
2 chopped onions
oregano, a pinch
provencal, at ease
breadcrumbs, low calories, amount needed
ground pepper, a pinch
Preparation:
Soak the chickpeas for a few hours and then boil them until tender, remove the water and process and also boil the brown rice and once cooked, strain and process.
In a bowl, mix the chickpeas and rice and add the chopped onions and season with pepper, Provençal, a pinch of oregano and add the beaten eggs. Form the milanesas with both hands and pass them through the breadcrumbs. Distribute them in a previously greased source with oil and cook in the oven until golden brown, remove and serve with the chosen garnish.
