How to prepare a syrup with cognac

The syrup can be used for puddings, custards, cakes, puddings, sponge cakes, thin maces and compotes:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/4 of cup of cognac

Procedures

Put the sugar and water in a saucepan, boil until the syrup takes a strong thread point (approximately ten minutes of boiling).
Remove from the heat and add the Cognac, mix with a wooden spoon and serve hot.
