Cooked meat with tomato sauce
If you have made a meat broth, the simplest and most common way to take advantage of cooking meat is this simple recipe: Cooked meat with tomato sauce. Simple because you only need 4 ingredients: your meat already cooked, onion, red pepper and tomato sauce.
Make one ketchup homemade or choose a consistent tomato sauce; Today there are very good products on the market and it enriches the sauce with some aromatic herbs and spices to your liking. The laurel and rosemary that I have used will give a very special aroma to this dish that I have cooked in a clay pot.
Ingredients
For two people
- 1/2 K of cooked meat
- 1 small onion
- Red pepper
- 1 hello d elaurel
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- Pepper
- Oil
Crafting
We chop the onion, very minced and put to poach in a saucepan with a splash of oil. We cut a little red pepper and add it to the casserole, sautéing the mixture for approximately 15-20 minutes.
Once the onion and pepper are tender we add our ketchup and the aromatic herbs and we cook a few minutes so that our sauce takes on all the flavors. At this point you can remove the aromatic herbs and crush the sauce or, like me, leave it as is.
To finish we incorporate the meat cut into pieces in the casserole and with the help of a wooden spoon we integrate all our ingredients. Add pepper to taste and cook 5-10 minutes over medium heat so that the meat takes on flavor. We serve hot.

Thank you for the recipe. Just to comment that in the text where it says "aromatic herbs", the correct thing would be "aromatic herbs". All the best.
