Ingredients
- 300 g of minced meat (pork, beef, etc.)
- 12 sheets of cannelloni.
- 1 onion and a half.
- 2 garlic cloves.
- 3-4 red tomatoes.
- 2 tablespoons of fried tomato.
- Grated cheese.
- Salt
- Thyme.
- Oregano.
- Olive oil.
Preparation
First, we will take a large bowl and fill it with hot tap water and introduce the cannelloni sheets precooked. We will let them soak for about 20 minutes.
Then we will prepare the filling. To do this, we will chop the two very small garlic cloves and the half onion and fry it in a small pan together with a good background of olive oil. When it is poached, we will add the minced meat and stir to mix the flavors. When the meat is well cooked, we will add the spices and the fried tomato, stirring again and reserving.
On the other hand, at the same time that the meat is cooked for the filling, we will make the homemade tomato sauce. To do this, we will chop the whole onion and tomatoes a little and fry them in a pan with olive oil. Add salt and a little sugar to counteract the acidity of the tomato and let it cook for about 10 minutes. Crush.
Finally, we will drain the cannelloni sheets on a clean cloth and fill them with the cooked meat, then we will add a little homemade tomato sauce on top and a little grated cheese. We will put in the oven some 10 minutes to gratin.
