To vary the garnish of your dishes a bit, you can prepare this exquisite canned green peppers.
INGREDIENTS·
14 green bell peppers, cut into strips
Salt·
1 ½ onions, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons olive oil
½ liter of vinegar
2 cups of sugar
PREPARATION:
1. Cut off the ends of the peppers. Remove the seeds and split them into slices.
2. Let the peppers rest overnight, in enough water with salt. Drain.
3. Sauté the onion and peppers in the oil. Put the vinegar with the sugar on the fire until it dissolves.
4. Add the peppers and leave them on the heat until soft.
5. Arrange them in a sterilized jar and bathe with the vinegar. Seal. Put in a water bath for 15 minutes.
Tip: Serve with chicken, meat or fish fajitas.
