These macaroni are a delight. You can prepare them with minced meat. of beef, pork or lamb If you are looking for a more special dish, you can also mix several of these meats, to your liking! This will be the star of the dish, accompanied by onion, some strips of pepper, a little tomato and some black olives.
Personally, I like everything to have color in this dish. I like to sauté the onions and peppers over a fairly high heat and cook the meat until it achieves that dark tone in the picture. A little double concentrated tomato and concentrated beef broth with cloves to make the sauce more flavorful, but you can skip them. Shall we start cooking now?
The recipe
- 1 red onion, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 12 olives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- ½ cup of concentrated beef broth
- 250-300 g. minced meat
- 160 g. macaroni
- Sal Island

- Olive oil
- We heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan and sauté the onion for 5 minutes until it takes color.
- Then, add the peppers and cook for 5 more minutes over high heat, stirring frequently so that the vegetables brown but do not burn.
- Now, We add the minced meat and season generously with salt and pepper. Cook until the meat is cooked and lightly browned.
- Then, We add the tomato and the broth, We mix and cook for a couple more minutes so that everything combines.
- We took advantage of that moment to put cook the macaroni in plenty of salted water, following the manufacturer's instructions.
- When the pasta is ready, drain it and add it to the pan along with the chopped olives. Mix and cook for a couple of minutes over high heat.
